frequently asked questionsmanchester is pretty small, despite having five exits on the interstate. there's a
super walmart, of course, but there are a few other fun things to do in
town. if you like the outdoors, there's
old stone fort or tims ford state park.
also, you can play golf at old stone fort, and
willowbrook is only a few miles down the road. if you want to work out, the
manchester recreation complex is in the
middle of manchester, next to the city park. there's a greenway that's good for outside running, too. if you're
looking for other things to do, lynchburg and the jack daniels
distillery are about 45 minutes away. the nearest
movie theater is
in tullahoma--the regal cinema 8. well, this hasn't really been decided yet. we've both been looking for jobs all over the US,
but where we live will be largely determined by where kristin matches for
pathology residency. she'll find
out about this on march 16, and we'll update after that. kristin will be getting her MD degree on may 21, and after that she'll be training in pathology for four years, with an optional fifth year of training. matt is currently working on his dissertation ("the big book report") and will defend on march 31. he's looking for jobs in educational psychology and wants to gets his pilot's license in the next two years. UPDATE: we are moving to chapel hill, north carolina. kristin found out on march 16 that she has a job with the university of north carolina at chapel hill, so we'll be relocating there after the wedding! ANOTHER UPDATE: matt passed his defense on march 31, so you can call him "dr. matt" at the wedding. a gift is not a requirement to attend the wedding, and your presence is really all either of us
want, but we've already had several people ask this question. so, we're registered at
Walmart,
Bed, Bath, & Beyond, and
Sears (Registry#: 093008020048011606). just email one of us via the links to the right. |
